Picket Table

This coffee table features an assemblage of 1” x 1” white oak farming stakes found in big weathered heaps around the perimeter of the farm fields near our house. A unique patina defines each piece of wood. The base is constructed from long metal rods found stored in the rafters of a barn. After grinding and resurfacing each piece, they were welded together into a new form. The base features a black oxide patina with a wax finish.
