Freeman Remodel

Location: Quilcene, WA
Area: 1,875 sf

Set along the shores of Quilcene Bay and the Eastern edge of the Olympic Mountains of Washington State, this project features a full remodel of an existing ranch style cottage. The design program for this project centered around opening up and vaulting the ceiling in the West Room in order to gain access to natural light and views of the water and mountain beyond. The owners were looking to create a warm and welcoming home to share with family and friends. All of the structural beams were harvested and milled locally. All of the interior finish wood comes directly from the homeowners nearby property.
